Who Are We?
Hemp Mountains was established in India and New Zealand in 2020.
Our aim is to build a community that educates and raises awareness on the benefits of hemp and CBD, advocate for the legalisation of Cannabis and help people find great businesses in the hemp and CBD industry.
When we first realised all of the incredible uses of hemp and CBD along with the numerous benefits for our health and our planet we couldn’t believe that this plant was not already being abundantly across the planet.
Hemp has the capability to solve so many of the major problems we face on earth from depression to deforestation. Not only do varieties of this plant make you high and expand your consciousness safely it has thousands of other real world practical uses that can infiltrate to almost every part of our lives.
At Hemp Mountains we care deeply the Earth and every single living being and plant that lives here.
We are committed to contributing the growth of the hemp industry so we can start to truly harness the power of hemp!
Now is the time to make changes to save our home and to save ourselves by reintroducing hemp into our lives.
Meet Our Founder
Meet Christina, the founder of Hemp Mountains! Christina is originally from Auckland, New Zealand but has spent a number of years living overseas in the UK and travelling full time where she fell in love with India.
She splits her time between New Zealand and India, two countries that have strong potential for a booming hemp and CBD industry.
Christina is a freelance content creator, travel blogger and certified yoga teacher.
“My first ever memory of hemp was seeing my mum use it foot lotion when I was a kid, I found it so funny that her cream had ‘drugs’ in it! I really had no idea.
It was when I went vegan in 2015 and started looking for a plant based protein powder that I stumbled across hemp as a food source for the first time. This sparked my interest and I started looking more into what hemp really is. Needless to say my mind was blown. And then along came CBD!
I just couldn’t believe how incredible this plant is, I just knew I had to share hemp and CBD with the world in some way. Travelling to India and Nepal reignited my hemp flame after seeing it being used in the form of hash, bhang and textiles where this beautiful plant has deep roots.
After much thinking and procrastination Hemp Mountains was eventually born in a tiny cafe in Pushkar.
